What you need to know
3" x 1" single tube steel legs are for the minimalist who wants a sleek modern look but not mid-century, appreciates minimal sight lines, or doesn't want a project to be "all legs".
Offered in heights from 4"-40" you can select just what you need.
Precision manufactured by our team in Nevada from recycled steel, precision cut, sandblasted, and then powder coated for a clean finish - each leg is built to last a lifetime.
We've engineered them to be very rigid with a wide baseplate to keep your project sturdy. We include a threaded insert that is 3/8"-16 and offer leveling feet and casters that you can add to your build.
Casters will add about 4" in height (3.65") when screwed all the way in. Leveling feet will add 0.4375" to 1.125" to the height depending on how far you screw in the foot.
Finishes from left to right top to bottom - Textured Matte Black, Buttercream, Moondust Grey, Glacier White, Metallic Silver, Lava Red, Casual Turtle Green, Midcentury Blue, Low Gloss Clear Coat, Raw

Measure twice, cut once. Note the video above has our old top plates on them, our new top plates are a sturdy, rigid, square shape. Have questions... just drop us a note.
Our powder-coat finishes are scratch-resistant and rust-proof, so they don't need much care. Just be sure to touch up any exposed steel if you happen to scrape them with something sharp.
Build Instructions
Build Instructions
You can attach your 3x1 Tube Steel Legs with just a few simple tools. Position them flush with your surface, or move them in from the edge. With preformed slots, they're easy to attach. Here are a few basic steps to help you get started.
- Step 1: Turn your project surface and the 3x1 Tube Steel Legs upside down. Place the legs on top of the surface, and use a tape measure to position them where you'd like them. (Be careful to keep the legs steady.) Mark each slot with a pencil, and add the leveling feet, if desired.
- Step 2: Remove the 3x1 Tube Steel Legs and pre-drill holes through each pencil marking into your surface. (Pre-drilling makes things easier and helps avoid damaging your surface material.)
- Step 3: Reposition the 3x1 Tube Steel Legs and drive fasteners through each hole. Fasteners will need to be long enough to account for the thickness of the base and about half the surface. (If attaching legs to concrete or metal, use concrete or metal fasteners.)
- Step 4: Confirm the 3x1 Tube Steel Legs are securely attached, then turn your project right side up. (Have someone help you lift larger projects to prevent pulling fasteners out of the surface material.)

Clear & Color Powder Coats
Our powder-coat finishes are scratch-resistant and rust-proof, so they don't need much care. Just be sure to touch up any exposed steel if you happen to drag them across rough surfaces, such as pavers, or scrape them with something sharp.
Raw Steel
Raw steel arrives with a thin layer of residue to protect it from rust while in transit. Sealing your raw steel with wax, paint, or a clear coat will keep it looking its best (or you can let it develop a natural rusted patina).
- Raw steel legs ship with wax for sealing
- Apply a rust-inhibitive clear coat rather than wax if using outdoors
- Sprayed finishes work best for paint or clear coat (use products that are suitable for metal)
